We fix what's broken, fast, and we don't disappear after the invoice. Emergency dispatch available across Alpha and the surrounding zip codes.
No automated menus for emergencies — a real person handles the call.
Ask as many questions as you want; we'd rather over-explain than leave you unsure.
Warranty details are explained clearly so you know exactly what's covered going forward.
Leonard HVAC didn't start as a franchise chasing volume. Every technician we send to your door is background-checked, factory-trained, and licensed to work on the systems installed throughout Alpha, NJ.
We're not the biggest name in Alpha — we're the crew that answers the phone at 2am when your furnace quits in the middle of a cold snap. Licensing and insurance aren't optional line items for us, and we keep that documentation available on request for every job, routine or emergency.
We know which neighborhoods run on older ductwork and which subdivisions were built with newer high-efficiency systems. That local knowledge shapes how we diagnose problems — it's the difference between a tech who's guessing and a tech who's seen your exact situation a hundred times before.
Too many homeowners in Alpha have a story about a tech who showed up late, quoted one price, and charged another. That's the gap we built Leonard HVAC to close. Every dispatcher, every technician, and every follow-up call is held to the same standard, because a customer who trusts us once tends to call us again — and Alpha is a small enough community that reputation travels fast.
That local context saves time on every call, because we're not starting from zero on basic questions about your neighborhood or your system. Our warranty and service history records stay attached to your address, so any future technician who visits already has the full picture.
Every service below is backed by the same licensing, warranty, and upfront pricing you get on any job we run.
When your Ac Repair system fails without warning, waiting days for an appointment isn't an option. Our Alpha dispatch team prioritizes no-heat and no-cooling calls so a technician is diagnosing your system as fast as physically possible.
If a specialty part genuinely does need to be ordered, we'll set up a safe temporary fix and give you a real timeline instead of leaving you guessing.
If your unit is past its expected service life, running loud, or spiking your utility bill, a replacement conversation is worth having. We walk Alpha homeowners through load calculations so the new system is sized correctly for the actual square footage before a single piece of equipment gets ordered.
Every install ends with a performance test, confirming airflow, temperature split, and refrigerant charge are all where they should be before we consider the job finished.
A retail floor, a restaurant kitchen, or an office suite can't run without stable climate control. Our commercial division services rooftop units and package systems across Alpha, with service agreements built around your operating hours.
Property managers working with multiple Alpha locations can set up a standing account so every site gets consistent service history and pricing.
Preventive maintenance is the cheapest repair you'll ever pay for, because it's the one that prevents the bigger bill. Beyond standard tune-ups, we also handle humidifier, dehumidifier, and air purifier installation for Alpha households that want more than just temperature control.
Maintenance plan members in Alpha get scheduling reminders automatically, so tune-ups don't fall through the cracks during a busy season.
This is the standard every Alpha technician on our team is held to.
If the same issue returns within the warranty period, we come back and fix it at no additional labor cost.
If a competitor's written quote for the same scope of work is genuinely lower, ask us about it.
Our office follows up after major repairs and installs to confirm everything is holding.
Most breakdowns don't happen without warning — they announce themselves for weeks before the system actually quits.
Rattling during startup often means a component has worked itself loose and needs tightening before it causes real damage.
Weak airflow from the vents often traces back to a clogged filter, a failing blower motor, or leaking ductwork.
A system working harder than it should to hit the same temperature shows up directly on your utility bill.
Short cycling puts extra wear on the compressor and shortens the system's overall lifespan.
A musty smell often points to mold or moisture buildup somewhere in the ductwork.
Repeated repairs on an aging system are usually the clearest sign that replacement will save more money than another patch job.
No inflated "emergency surcharge" games — the number we quote is the number you pay.
Because our trucks are stationed near Alpha, we're rarely far from your address.
If something isn't right after we leave, we come back and make it right.
Our techs recognize brand-specific quirks instead of learning your system on the job.
We explain what failed, why it failed, and what the options are.
Replacement systems don't have to be paid in one lump sum.
A snapshot of the feedback that keeps us accountable.
"The furnace stopped working overnight and someone was at our door before 9am. Fixed on the first visit and explained everything in terms I could actually understand."
"We've used them for our maintenance plan for two years now and never had a surprise breakdown. You can tell these guys actually know what they're doing."
"They handled the whole install in a single day, exactly like they said they would. New system is noticeably quieter and our energy bill actually dropped."
"Commercial dispatch was quick and the tech understood our system without needing to be walked through it. Kept our kitchen running through the weekend rush."
"I appreciated that they didn't try to sell me a bigger unit than I needed. Would use them again without hesitation."
"Diagnosed a failed capacitor and had it swapped within the hour. Genuinely relieved to have found a crew that answers when it matters."
None of these are unusual or embarrassing — they're just the normal wear and tear that comes with running a system through Alpha's seasonal swings.
Alpha's seasonal swings put real stress on a system that isn't maintained regularly. Before the coldest stretch of the year, a heating system benefits from a full safety inspection, checking the heat exchanger, ignition system, and airflow to catch any issue that could turn into a no-heat emergency.
Setting a programmable or smart thermostat to a consistent schedule reduces the number of times the system has to work hard to catch up to a big temperature swing. None of this replaces a professional tune-up, but it does reduce the wear that leads to premature breakdowns between visits.
We also service package units common on manufactured and modular homes throughout the Alpha area. If your system was installed by a different company entirely, that's not a problem — we service equipment regardless of who originally put it in, and we'll pull the model and serial information to confirm parts compatibility before any repair begins.
We don't outsource dispatch to a call center that's never met our technicians.
Over a decade in residential heating and cooling, with a focus on load calculations and full system replacements.
Known for fast, accurate diagnostics on no-heat and no-cool breakdowns.
Works directly with Alpha property managers to schedule around business hours.
Standard appointments are usually scheduled within 24-48 hours, while true emergencies jump the queue.
Our policy is simple: you approve the number before we touch the system.
We staff after-hours dispatch specifically because HVAC failures rarely happen on a convenient schedule.
We maintain current credentials because it protects both our customers and our team.
We never push a replacement when a straightforward repair will genuinely solve the problem.
Ask your technician about current plan pricing during any service call.

Yes, we run separate residential and commercial divisions, both fully licensed and equipped for their respective equipment.

Financing options are available for qualifying replacement installations, and our team can walk you through what's currently offered.
Twice-yearly maintenance is the standard we recommend given the temperature swings the area sees.
Check that the thermostat has power and the batteries aren't dead, and check your breaker panel for a tripped switch before calling.
Our pricing is explained clearly before dispatch, and any after-hours consideration is communicated upfront — never as a surprise on the final invoice.
Most standard repairs are completed in under two hours once the technician has diagnosed the issue and you've approved the quote.
For commercial accounts or rental properties, a designated point of contact or property manager can coordinate access instead.
Our technicians are familiar with both, which means less time spent figuring out your specific setup and more time actually fixing the problem.
Larger properties get the same upfront pricing and licensed technicians as a single-family service call, just coordinated at scale.
Qualifying installations can be financed through options we'll walk you through during your in-home estimate, with terms explained clearly before you commit to anything. If a rebate or local incentive program applies to your Alpha installation, our technicians will flag it during the estimate rather than leaving you to track it down after the fact.
We dispatch throughout Alpha and the neighboring communities, keeping response times tight because our trucks stay close to home.
Property managers with multiple Alpha addresses can consolidate everything under one account for simpler scheduling and consistent pricing across every location.
